How to connect

There are three ways to connect to GnomeVPN. If you are not sure, take INCY: one free app for every device and every protocol at once.

Platform

The INCY app

A free app for every platform. Install it once; from then on servers and protocols arrive through your subscription link by themselves.

iPhone and MacApp Store

  1. Install the app

    Open the App Store and install INCY. The app is free and needs no account of its own.

  2. Copy your link

    Open your account on this site, go to the Connect tab and press Copy for INCY.

  3. Add it to INCY

    Open INCY, tap + and choose import from clipboard. The app recognises the link and adds the subscription itself.

  4. Connect

    Pick a country from the list and press connect. The first time, iOS asks permission to add a VPN configuration — allow it.

Another subscription app

INCY is what we recommend, not what we require. Your subscription URL is a standard one, so any app that takes a subscription link reads it — the same servers, the same traffic counter, the same renewal date.

  1. Copy the subscription URL

    Open your account, go to Connect → With a link and pick your app from the list. The account gives you the link made for it and shows where to paste it.

  2. Add it as a subscription

    In the app choose to add a subscription or profile from a URL and paste it. Add it as a subscription rather than a single server, so the server list keeps updating itself.

  3. Pick a server and connect

    Each country comes in two variants: Hysteria2 over UDP and VLESS + Reality over TCP. The app labels each entry with its protocol. Start with Hysteria2; if the network blocks UDP, switch to VLESS.

Whatever app you pick, the link stays yours alone. If it leaks, rotate it in your account: the old one dies at once, every app is disconnected and you add the new link on each device. WireGuard configs keep working.

A WireGuard config

For people who prefer WireGuard, and for routers. Configs are made on your account's Connect tab, under With a config, or in the Telegram bot with /wireguard; each one is for one device and one country and takes a place in your subscription limit. WireGuard is easy to recognise and fails more often than the other protocols, mobile networks especially: if it will not connect, use INCY.
